A second-hand WWII jacket embroidered with thread from Florence, Italy. This pieces embodies the stories imagined through family photos found at a market in Florence during my residency there in the summer of 2019.

The booklet contains images and writing created during the residency in Florence, and a final reflection after the residency in fall 2019.
This is the final installation for the IAMD Florence Contemporary show at 205 Richmond Street West. The large scale images were created by scanning the original images, using a bitmap to distort them and are printed on lightweight bond paper. November 2019.

This initial critique took place at the end of our residency in Florence, Italy. This piece features the original small photographs found in the market near the studio.
An installation view (shadow) of clothes placed on a clothesline as part of a midterm installation. The shadows created on the wall ended up being much more interesting than the textiles themselves.

3D printed shells, scanned from a real shell and downloaded from Thingiverse. These colourful shells were scaled up and down to create contrast.

Using wet clay, I created an impression into the clay with the 3D large scale scallop shell print. I brushed on the hot wax to get the details of the shell correct.
a large scale installation project using only single crochet and cotton yarn. This piece was made while commuting on a variety of transit modes and having conversations.

This project encompasses all 3 iterations of web-art. Using multimedia approaches to using traditional and non-traditional materials for crocheting, creating sound and removal of intended purpose.

This collaborative piece was created with my father who lives in Germany.
The materials were selected to see if they would react to the sounds being played.
The materials themselves have meaning and are part of the musical prompt: Time, Space, Distance and Relationship.
